The majority of humans, like other animals, are social creatures. We don’t like to admit it at times, but one of the most - if not the most - important things to our happiness is being close to other humans. Yet, despite how interconnected the Internet has made us, we seem to be growing further and further apart. We put up impenetrable walls of fake personalities and have meaningless, unfulfilling interactions where neither person is their true self, just in order to fit in with the crowd.

A spontaneous adventure across Europe.

Having gotten a better job that I can do entirely off my computer, I’ve been able to travel a lot more. This has given rise to occasional, spontaneous, grand journeys across the world. I love traveling a lot, I’ve had lots of new experiences, met new people, done new things, gone new places and have gained a much better general overview of what the little civilization we all share is like.

For about 6 years - the absolute majority of my childhood that I can still vaguely remember - I’ve been a victim of bullying, both verbal and physical. That part of my life was stolen away from me, and it’s not something I can ever get back. And yet, strangely, I think it has actually helped shape me into a person that I can say I am proud to be.

A brief dive into psychedelics.

I visited the Netherlands some time ago, and figured I would try one of the things they’re very known for - legal cannabis. Not neccessarily for the sake of enjoyment or with intentions to repeat it in the future, just to know what it’s like. I don’t regret that decision, although I would’ve done things differently if I had the knowledge I do now. I purchased a single cannabis-infused brownie for a few euros, the transaction was done in less than a minute.
